I just watched Nibs’ video on the Crosman Vapor Max and realized I desperately need one. Anyone familiar with the price for this rifle? Thanks.

When it was originally branded as a Gamo it was $80 . But then crosman is a more expensive brand i guess

I was under the impression they are not widely available yet and expected a higher price tag. Looks to be very accurate and I wonder if it would be a good truck gun. I think I’ll find out.

Mine made it here from PA yesterday here is a quick look at the steroid Daisy style pump linkage. Getting 16 fpe with 12 gr. Apollo Slugs.

Mine made it here from PA yesterday here is a quick look at the steroid Daisy style pump linkage. Getting 16 fpe with 12 gr. Apollo Slugs.

I had a slight issue with the main pivot of pump linkage not being properly secured from the factory. A quick fix remove the offending sides foregrip panel unscrew the bolt with allen wrench, line it all up and turn the bolt to reinstall properly.

I did some lead testing on a target 8 pumps in the green marks, 7 pumps in the black marker, 10 pumps on the orange arrows. 13.43gr JSB, the 12gr Apollo slugs are a no go. I tried off target first

10m benched, I blame the Caldwell Matrix for the shift off target. If shooting with the lawyer spring in , best to pull up the 1st stage slack, then follow through, otherwise one feels a few bumps on the final release.
