Vantage 4x12x40 AO IR 17hmr scope on Benjamin Marauder gun?

Hi, any issues with doing that? found one as a good deal but wondering if it'll be any good for that purpose. from my understanding to me it seems like the reticle is preconfigured or set up for a 17hmr. let me know what you think. if its not ideal then I could still return it.

it will be ok for general purpose use, pesting, targets at modest ranges .. that size scope really isnt ideal for any one thing and depending on your particular 'bag' you can do better likely ..
