Vacation ideas, suggestions

So I've been getting pretty wound up lately, to much work equals to much stress. I have eradicated all the starlings and pest around here, and have no outlet for my frustration.

I'm looking at taking a vacation soon, and would love to take my gun and go somewhere I can hunt all day. Anybody have any ideas? I thought maybe Florida, and help out with the iguana infestation, but have no clue were to go.

I also thought about heading out west. Shooting prairie dogs and ground hogs would be fun.

Any suggestions on were to go, who to talk to would be greatly appreciated.

I have looked into some hunting ranches, but 300 per day per person is a little excessive for my needs.

Take up scuba diving (if you haven’t already), orient yourself towards the Caribbean or the Gulf of Mexico, and do some lion fish hunting. The reef will thank you and it’s direct management of a terrible invasive species. And the side benefit is they’re tasty fish after you cut the spines off!

Leaving for Utila Honduras June 27, have Open Water Padi Cert. scheduled and look forward to Hawaiian Slinging me some Lionfish :) The island is full of Iguana's I have been told, I don't think you can hunt them but I will check that out.

Been to Roatan many times but never Utila. If I can offer a bit of advice; if you’re new to diving leave the sling until later in the trip, as extras like that can be a terrible distraction, especially to new divers. I completed my Master Scuba Diver rating a few years back and I still leave my camera back at the room for the first day of diving just to get comfy in the water without distractions.

Fire_at_will, maybe that’s one of the sources of your stress, i.e. you need another productive hunting outlet. Hell, Ted (of holdover fame) spearfishes too! ;)
