I regularly hunt starlings, house sparrows and pigeons at an enormous indoor dairy where many of the shots require a low powered airgun.
I’m constantly trying various red dot sights, scout scopes and pistol scopes trying to find the perfect optic for shots from 15-50 yards, with various pistols.
I think the Leapers UTG 2-7x32 1in Handgun Scope, with PDC Reticle is my new favorite.
it’s surprisingly bright, the pdc reticle is very convenient for hunting at these distances, and it’s got a 1” tube for light weight and has a lighted reticle... great for evening hunts indoor.
All in all...a very impressive scope at any price. My big dilemma...does it go on the Alpha Pro, The Pp700 or a Tau 7 silhouette. Tough call.
