It's been a while since I have followed Utah and FX with their backlogs etc, are they better now or the same, I noticed they have more versions of the Impact in stock. I am so tempted to add on to my Leshiy 2

Have you tried other dealers? From my understanding sure Utah maybe backorfered but that doesn’t mean some of the impacts, crowns or whatever don’t go to some smaller dealers, I see them posting having things off and on. (Working in whole sales this makes sense) I got my M3 from talon tunes the first week or so it came out and Utah was like it’ll take a while we’re back ordered already.

I had no problem ordering a Wildcat MK III BT from them last week.
Like everyone else they are suffering from an excess of demand and a shortage of supply on FX airguns. I find them better than Pyramid Air in terms of having FX items in stock, but everyone gets hit with this. The bigger and better known dealers MAY see more of the demand side, simply because they are better known and therefore a lot of people go to them first. I believe that I read somewhere that UA were the largest FX dealer (at least in the US) so while I’m sure they get more supply, they also have much more demand. I’m pretty sure that FX is cranking stuff out as fast as they can, just like everyone else, but the demand is obviously through the roof.
I have had good luck with Ken Hicks at SPAW (purchased 4 FXs from him in the last 2 years) but he often is out of stock. Finally, I have not purchased a gun from Talon Tunes, since I cannot understand why his prices are always higher than every other FX dealer. Of course, that may be one reason he has stock.
