Usps sucks a big one!

Herpes? That sounds dire!

My mailman is a woman as well but she doesn't get much exercise scared to death that she might have to exit the vehicle to do her job. 😂 😂

When I went in to get my package (for the second time) the lady behind the counter was frustrated and said that she has gotten many many complaints about this same exact thing from people along here mail route. Whether or not that matters, who knows? I guess someone in charge told the mail carriers to use their own discretion and if someones drive was too icy not to risk injury to deliver a package but my mailman took it one step further, she thinks it means "You don't have to do your job during the winter" lol. I'm sure she isn't the only mailman taking full advantage of this....

I'm not a robot (but my mailman is)

That happened to me twice. I was tracking the package and I actually saw the mailman man go to my mailbox & drive off, so I thought ok i guess not today it will probably get delivered tomorrow. Finally went to get my mail about 1/2 hour later & there was a notification that a delivery attempt was made. I went and complained. They asked me who the mailman was I said I didn’t know but it wasn’t my regular guy. I don’t think anything happened.

2nd time it happened almost same scenario, I saw the mailman drive off & immediately went and checked my mailbox,( it’s a 100 ft away) I found a delivery attempt note, I ran back to the house and got my car keys and went after the bum. I caught up to him and asked him about the note. He said he had honked. I was like what? Then I called him a liar and asked him since when is honking part of the delivery service. I told him that I was gonna report him. He was surprised and didn’t know what to say. Worthless S.O.B.

Was it a big item or heavy? With big and heavy items USPS, ups, or FedEx, they typically don't want to bring it to your door and not have anyone home..then have to bring it back. Also they just lazy imo. This FedEx guy was delivering my hatsan compressor. It's 109 lbs. I know what day it arrives, so I'm watching the window every 5 mins. I see him park his truck on the street. Walk to my door. Slap a ticket (we missed you) and walk away. Didn't even knock and wait if anyone answer. Wtf. I had to run out fast and catch him. By the time I got out. He was already in his truck. I waved at him and he saw me and came back and then went to get my compressor. Like damn, if I hadn't watch the window. He would of drove away. They just lazy and don't want to bring big heavy items to your house.

On some rear occasions I’ve had just one minor problem with ups they put a package at the door and don’t ring the bell. That doesn’t happen often since I asked the regular driver to do that. With both ups and fedex they look at us as customers and try to keep us happy. It’s unfortunate but I think the usps workers would be happy if they stopped parcel delivery as their thought of mind is the government will just subsidize them more and give them a raise.

I have my mailbox at the curb perhaps 60’ from my door when the package is too big to fit in mailbox I’ve had the mailman or woman tape the package on the box rather than bring to the door also if it’s more than 1 package they will put what fits in box and bring the rest to door. What it boils down to we are not customers to them they look at us with distain for making them work.

When I first lived in my house we had an old school mailman who was wonderful he would even put a stamp on a envelope if you forgot that was in pre internet days when all bills were Baird threw the mail.

im retired now when I was working I had as many as 400 people working under me for a large service company. In filling job openings over the years I can count on one hand how many former government workers worked out, the only exception to this was former military. Being a Navy man myself one thing the service tought you was that you accomplish what tasks your given plus whatever else you see that needs to be done.
