USPS sad , very sad

I've shipped thousands of packages over the last 15 years with USPS and have only had 2 issues. I will say that over the last couple of years they've been getting worse on hitting the "expected" delivery date, but still have been doing good with not damaging or losing packages.

UPS isn't any better. They smashed a rifle that I shipped rendering it useless. I made a claim, but never heard back from them.

I believe that certain areas get better service from certain shippers than others. I am in SW Ohio and have absolutely HORRIBLE luck with USPS. For me, FedEx has been the most consistently good shipper, but every and I mean EVERY single time someone ships to me using USPS it is going to be a nightmare. The only way I would ever use them for anything would be for the flat rate boxes if it is something that is heavy and will cost a bunch from UPS or FedEx.
