Uragan 177 standard bump the FPS

Why...do you want it..."the same" ?

What if the 13gr. pellet doesn't like going that fast ?

How far are you shooting ? Are you shooting 100 / 150 yd's ? Shorter distances don't need magnum power. Interesting how the Brits (EU) can shoot nicely centered bull's eye's with a lot less power than what we get to use here in the US.

I recently lowered the power on all of my adjustable guns. Less wear and tear on the guns, lower noise, AND...still great grouping !

I just think higher FPS less arch flatter shooting , Also less adjustment for wind, I have noted this the small 177 pellets are less affected buy the wind at 900 FPS, It seems that when I slow the pellet down to 700 to 800 FPS the wind really makes a different , Now thats just a slight 10 to 15 MPH wind , any think over that pretty well forget the 177 need to break out the heavy 25 caliber,,, Also 80 % of my shooting is at 48 yards and 20 % is at 30 yards when the West Texas winds are real bad,,, I do like to test out my shooting in high winds its pretty crazy the way a wind blows a pellet , Faster is better in the wind.

I tried to shoot the 8gr pellets at my 48 yard range if I so much as farted I could not hold the dead eye dot..

The 8gr do seem to do a lot better at slower speeds of 800 and below, I am sure its just me, I even did some sparrow pesting with the wad cutters, Even at 8gr the wad cutters did a lot of feather and flesh damage

Ok I am just going to finish up the 10 gr H&N s and then jump to the 13 grs and see what the hammer spring will give me..
