Uragan 0.22 Problem

No idea what you mean by 'very unlikely'?

I meant your shot string over the chrony in case you are misunderstanding me. Has extreme spread increased/become erratic or is it still consistent? Is it showing a bell curve?

Visually inspecting the hammer adjuster is unlikely to provide reliable insight. Try a slight increases in hst and see if that improves things.

If that fails you'll need to provide more info regarding the shot string to see if your reg has a problem.

It could be that the hammer spring has taken a slight set, sure...it doesn't take much to produce an observable change in the velocity. A 9mps (~30fps) change in velocity is more than I would expect however, unless it is a valve design that is extremely easy to knock open.

More likely I would say that the regulator has settled in. As the seat wears in, the setpoint can be expected to shift upward slightly which will require a bit more hammer strike to knock open the valve.

Could be something else but I wouldn't worry about it at the moment. Perfectly normal to need to tweak the state of tune after having shot it a bunch.

I'm not sure to be honest. I suppose it might have settled a bit but the hammer spring shouldn't really be stressed to the point where it takes a set 🤷‍♂️

Another thing to consider is whether your new Huma reg might also have broken in at a pressure slightly different than it was initially.

If it's shooting well and consistently after the hammer adjustment I'd just keep an eye on it and see if things stay put. If power starts drifting again then there's a problem to be solved.
