I shipped air rifle with UPS and bought insurance coverage. Rifle showed up with broken stock, in 3 pieces. Went to UPS office I shipped from to file claim. Initial response I got from manager was UPS rarely pays claims because they dispute your packaging. After a couple f weeks and a few visits to UPS, I was shocked to be there led they were going to pay my claim. Thank you UPS.

A word to the wise;
I always take pictures, usually two or three, of everything I ship during the packaging process I have to insure. I’ll also send the pics to the buyer to assure them they are not getting damaged goods.
Fortunately, I’ve not had to make a claim but if I did, I’m (hopefully) prepared.
