No not to hawke specifically sfp sorry should have clarified it better really no problem with the hawke at all just wanted to switch to ffp for the reticle hold over points . I love the hawke scope otherwise

Understood, and certainly a valid issue. There has been discussion of some scopes shifting POI with changes in magnification and that is what it seemed was mentioned. Sorry for the misunderstanding and thanks for the clarification. I have a couple of the Hawke FFP scopes and they are very good IMO.

FWIW, The POI on my Hawke 4-16 x 44 mm compact SFP scope does NOT change with changing the power setting.

Same here.

The OP never claimed his POI changed with the change in magnification. He did however mention not liking how his holds, his POA, subtended differently with change in magnification on his SFP scope.

I miss read POA as POI in the original post.
