Is there enough difference between the V1 and V2 FX pocket radars to make upgrading to the V2 worthwhile? When testing my .177 FT gun my V1 misses shots every so often, so I'm thinking of buying a used V2 unit.

I like the form factor of the V2 much better, but in fairness I think the V1 is much less fussy in picking up shots, especially the reflections of the tiny .177 pellet.
My 2cts: If you want to upgrade to eliminate any missed shots, get a different brand, for the FX chrony V2 is not an improvement in that respect.

I believe the issue comes with the batteries used and how much use they have.

I was using alkaline batteries but have switched to the recommended Lithium batteries. It made a difference in missed shots. But I still get a few, especially on the 1st shot after a short rest like when reloading a magazine.
The V2 can have its firmware updated. Anything there that might be an advantage?
