Air Arms Updating my TX200.

I have a TX200 mkIII. I bought in 2010. I used it for six years and would shoot 2-3 hundred pellets a day sometimes.
Then in 2016 I moved and it sat. I shot it a couple times in 2018 but not much. Now I have my own field target range and got the old TX out for a shoot. Even with the wrong pellets and a scope that’s not dialed in. It was a pleasure to shoot. It is set up for WFTF at 12 fr lb. The trigger has been worked over and the gun is a dream. But no one wants to shoot WFTF piston class anymore. The scope I have is a big 40x with a 15x marking but no 16x marked on the scope. The side wheel is kinda big and it is all kinda needing something.
So I decided to give it a freshen up and convert it to hunter class. It shoots perfectly well . But a smaller scope would help with loading. And I need to re blue the cocking lever. The original blue is gone. I have an idea to reblue it with heat. Let’s see how that works out.

I shot open piston and just felt really let down by the lack of participation. But it’s pretty popular in Hunter.

I redid the blue on the cocking lever. It is super shiny. I polished then heated it till it turned blue. It is better looking than it was.

I like the smaller scope. And I definitely want the illuminated reticule. I am probably going to upgrade my HFT scope then move the Aztec Emerald to this . But for now . Let’s go shooting.
