If you use the DTD Data Transfer Device to update your Delta Wolf's software, you must be using a PC, not a Mac. If you used

I couldn't get it to work on my Mac. I had to buy a very inexpensive PC and all was well. I have updated the firmware with it and also the two files needed for updating to the Ultra Valve(ie, Alpha Wolf Safari). It was quite easy. I had help from a PC knowlegeable friend, just in case.

I'm using VMWare Fusion on my Mac and have been able to update via the DTD to my Alpha Wolf. It was simply a matter of mapping the USB device into the right VM.

To some maybe. But having a rifle you can plug up and update software on to get improvements is great to others. To each their own. I too was of the mindset against electronic controlled rifles, until I tried my Alpha Wolf Safari. It has been a great experience so far. To have everything controlled and read on a screen is fantastic. And the electronic trigger is amazing (to me). Don't get me wrong, I have some serious complaints when it comes to my Daystate, but I also have complaints about my FX, and other brand rifles. None are perfect and I would buy them again.
