Basically my thoughts exactly. More mid range compressors that are guaranteed to fail sooner rather than later. Maybe the $1700 one will be decent, but compressors are a money pit whether you end up buy several cheap ones or just dump the $3k+ for top tier.

They have a long way to go to get people to buy off on anything once they have owned a Nomad.

I have an AV 4500 one, it has started a small oil leak out of the case. Still works fine tho....gonna run it till it won't lol, its been running for like 4 years now. I also use a nomad II to fill my k1 to 4500psi. It's been flawless for me.
