Update on the Benjamen Rushmore

I have posted many times concerning my efforts to get a group out of this rifle. After several scopes, mounts, pellets and different ways to hold it it refused to give me a group.

It was suggested that I get a tune up. So after several weeks I got it back. Today I spent a couple hours shooting. I have been able to get a couple groups in the 1.5 inch range.

At thirty yards that is not what I call good shooting when shooting off a solid bench. It seems to like the JSB 18.13 and the AA 16's.the best

It is prone to verticle stringing. I had several groups that if they where all of the same elevation would have one hole groups, Way less than a inch spread side to side.

I always shot this rifle with my fingers touching the front screws in an effort to be consitant. After seeing the stringing I pulled my hand back to just in front of the trigger, At that point some of the stringing went away . Good but not great, however any straw in a storm. By the way I checked the screws.

I think I will try to get another scope and see it that is the problem.

Thanks for letting me sound off. I have guns that shoot well but I want this one to shoot well.

God Bless
