Unreliable airguns

Are you willing to post a link to the video? Someone may, or may not accept the video's presentations, but it may interest some of us to hear the opinions.

The term "sample size" is often overlooked. Forming conclusions on only my own experiences is highly subjective and should be highly suspect, IME.

Absolutely on point couldn't be more spot on im still a novice but try to pick up as much as I can from people that have been in the airgun game .alot of folks like u said Closet a gun under warranty or have a real bad experience with who they bought it from .most problems aren't too bad .my guantlet 30sl having issues with the inner bolt arm .but just sent it back under warranty and just play the waiting game with umarex. Not the end of the world
Is that your only pcp?

That certified slug thing is bs its not the slugs it's the gun !a g t said that to my friend who bought an s45 jammed afterc3 rounds with nsa,mr hollowpoint, and Jim texoma, don't work oh btw aea slugs jam but it was the ammo .lol can't deal with drop shippers anymore .bintac never resolves ur issues
That's weird, when we originally tested the 155gr 457" pellets (Sized .456"), I ran a test with AEA and we pumped close to 7,000 pellets through between us and had only a handful of jams. I am not a huge fan of the BW S45 and I think it is finicky as hell, plus you now have BW S45's out there that are years old. I cannot answer for all the other stuff and people in the post above, but for me, I am currently clearancing out my BW S45 parts we make, but the 155gr 457 pellet remains one of our top sellers.

Never had ammo issues it's the gun and the valvepressure idk that's y the new t50 scares me like an s45 with t9 tanks smh bintac has to do better

DARs, I have a gen 1 0.177 and gen 2 0.22 and 0.25 and all 3 leaked right from the start.
Just to follow-up, I returned both the 0.22 and 0.25 guns for replacements and guess what....both the replacement guns also leaked! When I complained I received a message that I need to replace the o-rings because "these guns sit in the warehouse a long time".

I am by no means an expert on the T9, but having had one for close to a year, I haven't had any issues. The T50 will not be released until next month, but I have talked with Bin about it. As I understand it, they went with the T9 set-up and supersized it. It is coming in at 4,500 psi on the front tanks, and about a month later, the rear 7,000 psi tank will be available (still regulated down to 4,500 psi). I have two on the way, once they are available, and I plan on ripping into one immediately (There will definitely be a video(s)).

I must be lucky. I can't say ANY of the guns I've owned have been "unreliable". The more inexpensive guns I started out with had things that I needed to do to get them shooting better than when originally received but weren't unreliable. I knew their limitations (and mine) & they performed up to those. I expected nothing more. I have 3 FX guns now, Bobcat 1, Royale 500 & Boss. They are EXTREMELY reliable. Maybe it's because they're of the simplest platform FX ever made imho. I think their newer, more complex guns are more unreliable than mine.
I bought one used, waiting for it. I figured I'd just order the pump o ring kit

Healthways MA-22 [No nickel-plated lead balls available], Marksman 1049 again feeding problems. I have a few Hy-score with loading gate where the breech closure gate gets struck. Sometimes you can just oil it and work the cam loose. I fixed a lot of Hy-score pistols loading cam .
As collector I have some non-functioning airguns, and a few unreliable ones that I shoot regardless. I just thought of another example I collect Marksman Repeater [MP] diecast pistols

Some of you may think I am a SPA fan boy. Maybe I am. But I have a P35X that has had problems the whole time I've owned it. I was gifted it by another member after he tried unsuccessfully to get it to make reasonable fpe. I quickly found the barrel port was way too small. It is a 25 and the port was 75% of a 22 bore diameter. So I drilled that out and it helped. Then I decided if that was undersized the passage from the valve to the barrel port was probably undersized too. It still did not make the power it should have either. FPE was lower than my P35-25 despite a much longer barrel and 60cc plenum. Then I made a mistake and forgot the valve is held in by a pin and applied too much force to the valve to try and get it out. I have it working now but it is making even less fpe than it did when I got it. It also puffs air back at me (I shoot from my left shoulder) despite a new O-ring in the barrel (actually two, I've replaced it twice). It also puffs air with two different barrels suggesting a problem with the pellet probe.

So it's a nice looking but weak shooting 25 at the moment. For a right hander the leaking breach O-ring would probably not be a big deal. It is not exactly unreliable and I don't think I've really helped it. But some of it's issues were poor quality control at SPA. I don't know why the original owner didn't just send it back. I like to think I can fix things but this one has issues that still elude me. But a ~25 fpe 25 caliber that gets at least 60 shots per fill is not useless. But that is after a lot of work.

But I also have 4 other SPA guns which shoot very well and have given me minimal if any trouble. I think the brand is pretty good, especially for the price, but I think my P35X experience also shows they make a dud from time to time.
