As always, the printable PDF is attached below:

For the "actual target" challenge, there is a whole lot to choose from this month, so be creative!! So, you can shoot some flowers for May Flowers Day, or blow up some walnuts or chocolate chips for this month. Here are some other days that are observed this month to give you some ideas:

So here are some May Holidays:
  • May Flowers (All month...shoot the flowers that you want!!)
  • Paranormal Day (May 3)
  • Star Wars Day (May the fourth be with you!)
  • Cinco de Mayo
  • Have a Coke Day (Or shoot a Coke on May 8th)
  • National Shrimp Day (May 10th) - this could be interesting...
  • Mother's Day (May 11th) - Not sure what to shoot for this, but make a note and take care of Mom
  • Nutty Fudge Day - May 11th - I'd prefer to eat nutty fudge, but you do you...
  • Crouton day (May 13th), this could be fun
  • National apple pie day (Also May 13th) - Pro Tip! - You can pick up an apple pie for a buck from Wal-Mart
  • My birthday, and National Dance like a Chicken Day (This sounds fun on May14th)
  • National Chocolate Chip Day (May 15th)
  • Pizza Party Day (May 16th) - Awesome!!
  • Walnut Day (May 17th)
  • May 17th is also "World Whiskey Day". I like whiskey, myself, so I don't recommend shooting your whiskey
  • World Bee Day (May 20th)
  • National Paperclip Day (May 29th)
As always, for the actual target challenge, please Vote Up your favorite entry by clicking the arrow 🔼 to the right 👉of the post. The entry with the most votes 10 days after the end of the month will be declared the winner, and that shooter gets the associated bragging rights from now until forever!!

It was awesome that we saw more participation last month!! Let me know if you have any suggestions for future contests.

Here is the bragging rights list from last month...

This might be my first or last entry for this month due to the scarcity of pellets here in my country.

Card was shot standing and not looking through the scope.
Sorry about the scarcity of pellets. I saw you sorting through a mostly empty tin last month. Thanks SO MUCH for using your precious pellets for an entry!!!

You are an incredible marksman, Ricky!! Great card!

Thanks! Actually I have several tins left but they are reserved for competition purposes. I found some old tins with some pellets inside and I can use them for the new challenge. 😆

I decided to make it a true challenge for myself. I shot the target with my Walther LG400, aperture sights, standing freehand at ten meters. With the aperture sights at ten meters I could not make out the individual bulls since everything was a soft grey tone. I made a “cheater pattern“ in Photoshop to overlay the target and give me better contrast for aiming. It worked pretty well. The black dots are the same size as the white circles. I scored a 34 which I thought was very decent. I may give it another try to improve my score.

Sorry for the slow update of this post. My Mother's Day present to my wife took me almost a month to complete, but she is happy, and that is all that matters.

Here is the bragging rights list for this month:

@TheAirgunnero is a fantastic shooter and took the bragging rights for the paper target, but I wanted to make sure that we honored Kenny @Kgphotos for his entry for shooting such a fantastic card free-hand. He even modified the target to assure that he could see it, and that takes dedication to the sport and definitely puts him in the "winners circle". Put your hands together 👏 for these awesome marksmen!!! Congratulations gentlemen!!!

Yea, you are on to me. I moved a ceiling fan in our living room, installed a chandelier over our dining table, and patched up the associated drywall in the ceiling. After that I floored our attic with 2x12's, so we can now use it for storage properly. Our house is wired using conduit, so that made it quite a challenge to cut around all that.

Wow! Sounds like you are a bit of a "Handyman". Nice work.
LOL! Thanks! My wife say's "He's handy". I design electronics as my day job; however, I work closely with the mechanical engineers. I appreciate precision in whatever you do (Like how you used Photoshop to assure that you could see the target), so I guess weird stuff like this gives me an outlet. Here is a picture when I was done with a section.

Note the Romex wire to the right. That was the power to the chandelier. I'm not running conduit any more. I am not stranded in the 70's.
