Sorry for the delay in getting this out this month, but as always, the printable PDF is attached below:

June is apparently "National Candy Month", so that is the theme for the paper target. For the "Actual" target, there are a lot of options this month, so here are some ideas:
The month of June is:
  • National Camping Month
  • National Zoo and Aquarium Month
  • Pride Month (If that floats your boat)
  • World Infertility Awareness Month
  • National Country Cooking Month (Shoot some green beans?)

Here are the June Holidays and Observances that may be interesting to airgunners:
  • June 1:
    • Flip a coin day (Flipping coins with an airgun would be cool:cool:)
    • National Olive Day (Shooting an olive at 50+ yards would be tricky)
    • Hazelnut Cake Day
  • June 2:
    • Rocky Road Day (This must mean the ice cream, but would be messy, but interesting)
  • June 3:
    • National Egg Day (This is self explanatory)
    • World Apple Cider Day (Seems like sacrilege to shoot apple cider, but here you go)
  • June 4:
    • National Cheese Day (I like cheese, but maybe you would want to shoot some. How about hitting the veins in bleu cheese?)
  • June 6:
    • National Donut Day (Shoot through the hole of a mini-donut at 100yards?)
  • June 10:
    • National Egg Roll Day (Not sure how challenging this would be, but would be fun to watch)
  • June 12:
    • Peanut Butter Cookie Day
    • Red Rose Day (This is a slant on the Mother's day flowers day)
  • June 15:
    • This is Father's day (Shoot with your Dad or Child and post it. We would all enjoy this)
  • June 16:
    • National Fudge Day
  • June 17:
    • Apple Strudel Day
  • June 22:
    • National Onion Ring Day (This could be fun if the onion rings are small enough, but how would you know if you missed it entirely or shot through the center?? 🤔)
  • June 24:
    • National Pralines Day
  • June 25:
    • National Parchment Day (Shooting a target made of parchment would be interesting)
  • June 26:
    • National Chocolate Pudding Day (This would certainly be messy, but cool to watch...especially if a Firebird was involved)
  • June 29:
    • National Waffle Iron Day (This could be interesting, so get creative)
As always, for the actual target challenge, please Vote Up your favorite entry by clicking the arrow 🔼 to the right 👉of the post. The entry with the most votes 10 days after the end of the month will be declared the winner, and that shooter gets the associated bragging rights from now until forever!!

Thanks so much for your participation in the "Unofficial" Monthly Challenge. Here is the bragging rights list so far:

I wanted to mention that Flag Day is June 14th, but I didn't put that on this list as I didn't think it was right to shoot the American Flag in any way. That said, if you want to delete the stars, and leave the "Sea of Blue"...and shoot all 50 (or 13 for the colonies), I personally think that would be acceptable. PLEASE let me know if I am "off base" in this assessment. I just wanted to mention why I left this important holiday out of the list. Safe shooting, airgunners!!!

Excellent shooting @Frank in Fairfield!!
I was not sure about the center target….
To shoot the gremlin or the candy it was holding.
The thought was to shoot the candy he was holding, but blowing the monster away gives some satisfaction for sure 👍

I'd say that your targets are 12:00, 3:00, and 6:00 should be scored as 3's as well, so you got a 21!! Great job, again!

That’s a beautiful rifle. That’s also some really nice shooting. I’ve always “lusted” after an HW35E in a nice walnut stock. Maybe someday. Bye the way……. I say “plug” the monster. He’s a monster so probably deserves it. He probably stole that candy from a baby😂😂😂.

I’ll give it a go with my Walther LG400 soon. I have a big job to shoot today and tomorrow but then I’ll be free the rest of the week.
Kenny

Here is my attempt with the Walther LG400. I shot this with the H&N Excite Econ II wadcutters at ten meters
standing free-hand with the factory aperture sights. I had to make a “cheater ring” around the targets so that I could see it through the aperture sights. It’s the same outside diameter as the circles on the target just thicker so that they work with the aperture ring sights. I actually scored a couple 21 point targets and then this one. It’s getting hot in the garage so I think I’ll stop with this one😁
