Done it, no, seen it? I have been on airgun forums since they started on the internet when there were just BBS's. I have seen so much stuff, especially on the Crosmans that nothing surprises me there. But nice job, especially if you are just getting into it. What I have done, and seen, is that shooting fast doesn't mean much, without it also shooting accurately. If you're shooting with any degree of accuracy at those speeds, than congratulations!
The title just says unethical build(?) If you mean have I seen a 2240 with a sidelever breech, yes. That doesn't take away anything from your great job, but people have been working on them for a very long time.
