Hello All....Ive been out of the game for a little bit while dealing with a vicious divorce....well im back & im looking for some advice/suggestions on what the first PCP purchase of my return will be...i also love high end Break Barrels preferably Theoben Gas rams but i think im going PCP this time til next week when i have another purchase to decide on...Ok so for now im looking for some suggestions....i love power & accuracy ...either .30 or .35 is what i want....what is the best bang for the buck available... if i dont need to spend $2200 im fine with that but if thats what i need to spend thats fine too ....let me know what you think....Thanks!!!

The Umarex Gauntlet 2 will get you in the 30 caliber pcp game fairly cheap. They're accurate as well.

Google top PCPs in preferred price range, any catch your eye, research, then come back for real-life owner experience. WM

Unless you have a real need for the .35, you will likely be much happier with the .30. There are more ammo choices, the ammo is about 1/2 the cost of .35 and will use 1/2 the air. There are also a lot more options for guns in .30.

My take is after a vicious divorce the last thing you need is a PCP,you need a multi-pumper,yea, that's what I''m thinking.

also they just came out with a better model of the same gun SL30.. it's not only supposed to be a better gun but it's side lever too..
it's on pyramid air.

also I would recommend a good quality compressor.. I have a Omega trail charger from AOA and it's been flawless for 8; years now

I appreciate the response...I had the Impact... Maverick... Wildcat... Prophet ...all were amazing shooters...I couldn't go wrong any of them...I also had the AEA Terminator....I couldn't just pick one to shoot for the day...I use to drive myself nuts deciding which to use so i would take them all out & would end up shooting the Maverick & Prophet...I wouldn't mind having that problem now unsure of what to shoot for the day..lol

I'm not a big bore fan, so I can't offer specific experience. But I know that the 30 cal FX Boss is the same platform as my Royale, and it would be a good one for your consideration. Unlike most FX products the Boss/Royale is simple, robust, and is a generally a very reliable rifle.

Give the ghost a try. I had mavericks and i am not exactly sure why but i just like the way the ghost shoots off bench styx or offhand its also a simpler design 13 o rings in the whole gun! Both of mine are very accurate and trouble free.

Another option would be to call Martin @ AirgunsUSA and have him build you a RAW rifle of your choice and power/tune......same lineage as your Theoben's....
