My 2021 Toyota Tacoma SR5 4x4 had a Check Engine light at under 3000 miles, I freaked out. The damage was $1200 and insurance covered it.

RODENTS and what I've done thus far:

Forget all of the homey recipes and buy the poop that works. Irish Spring soap DOES NOT WORK!

 I have a house where they chewed through 3 of 4 roof vents to get in. Any squirrel is fair game now!

Just spotted this guy at 30 yards.

Grabbed trusty .22 shorty.

He paused facing me and slightly to my right.

Sent a 14.35 JSB into his upper right chest exiting his left shoulder.

yeah they are tree rats damage cable wires telephone list goes on tore up my wifes pulbs she plants tear up the cusions on the lawn furniture every one i get a chance to get gets a little lead neighbors i got love my little pcp guns to take them out

I see this kind of damage regularly. I've always thought it odd how they target roof vents for entry.

Well #2 showed up today as I was shooting groups at 77 yards with my .25 shorty.

He was on the ground at about 18-20 yards opening up one of those walnuts for a little snack.

Went and grabbed my .22 and slowly, carefully poked the barrel through the cracked doorwall.

Slid a 14.35 right under his armpit.

2 down.

Good for you! Between those and the chipper’s it’s all out war. Had a chipmunk hiding in my jeep wheel, saw it run and jump in there, but when i went to take off it tried to jump off and got run over by the back tire. My neighbor had to replace his antilock brake sensor on his suv due to critter damage; found the charred remains of the chipmunk stuck in his wheel near the brake caliper.
