It's called the burst disk and that sucks bro. Good news is it can be replaced but I would recommend to go with the 5k burst disk.

I have several aluminum co2 and PCP bottles around. The co2 bottles all have a 3K disk on them and are good for co2 pressures. The PCP bottles all have a 5K disk on them. That reg plainly states it is a 3K rig so blindly putting a 5K disk on it would in my opinion not be a good Idea. It's hard to tell what the specs for working pressure for the bottle are unless it is stamped on the bottle. Most aluminum PCP bottles are stamped 3000psi near the neck of the bottle. Where high pressure is concerned safety needs to come first.
So what I am basically trying to say here is that anytime one buys a used bottle extra care should be taken to be sure that the reg and the bottle belong together else disaster could be close at hand.

It's the bottle right out of the gauntlet the ninja bottle. Fill pressure is 3000psi just kind of strange a burst disk is the operating pressure of the tank. I'll check the other one I have and see what the guns tank has on it.

Being its towards the top of the reg. It may be the burst disc for the output side of the reg. So the gun itself never sees no more than 3000 psi in event of a reg failure. Not necessarily the bottle burst disc. Usually there are 2 burst discs. A high and low.

Should have 5000psi for bottle & 3000 for reg output- if leaking out 3000, just replace-go to Ninja website & order( 3/8 by 24 piitch)https://www.ansgear.com/Unified_3000_PSI_Burst_Disc_p/burstdiscunified3000.htm If reg was shimmed too high, it could blow out @ less than 3000psi.Had them blow @ 400 psi below rating(they are not exact)

my stock gauntlet regulator in my 13/3000 factory bottle has 5k burst disk in both the bottle and gun side on the regulator right out of the box.

I don't know where you are at, but you might try a dive shop. They use a burst disc on the dive tanks and occasionally (back when I was scuba diving) one of those would blow out. Just a thought.

Amazon, ebay, etc have the burst discs. Degass the gun, look at yours. If it's not bad, just tight it back in a little tighter. Easy fix for sure.
