Umarex Umarex Notos Cylinder Expansion Through Gauge Port?

The Umarex Notos is a great little accurate shooter, but like everyone else i’m interested in increasing the shot count while still maintaining the compact form factor.

While looking at the schematics of the Notos, I couldn’t help but wonder:

Is it possible to thread in an additional HPA reservoir in the front of the cylinder in place of the pressure gauge?

My question is, are there any issues or dangers of doing this related to the structural integrity of the air cylinder and more specifically the fill port region?

Was thinking of maybe trying to adapt a repurposed disposable umarex nitroair cylinder or other small DIY tank.

Could be a good way to add 5-10 additional shots without the additional weight and bulk of the huben dropblock and tank.

you should contact firewalker here on the forum.. send him a PM..he does a lot of notos and zelos guns.. lots of bottle conversations and I just bought a complete air tube from him because I am going the other way, I have a machine shop lined up to shorten the air tube and I'll do the barrel and shroud since I have a machine shop in the garage.. I don't recommend using the gauge port for a extension it's too small and if you bumped it it's possible you could break off the extension tank and it will take off like a rocket..
no those nitro tanks are only 1 time use.. very dangerous if refilled..
now to the point firewalker sold a bunch of air tubes to a machine shop that is making a piece to screw two air tubes end to end.. so you'd degass, remove the end cap with the fill port and then screw the machined piece in and screw on the second tube and then put your end cap back on.. double the air.. firewalker is a great guy
