Umarex M1A1 Repairs

My trigger and safety no longer functioning. Anyone know how to get access to the trigger mechanism once you break the rifle down. Only see the plunger/metal assembly on top, see no way to remove it even after taking out screws. Is it pressed in? Anyone have a schematic diagram.
