New to the forum, and i ran into an issue. Unfortunately, I dropped my m1a1 shortly after unboxing, and it now has some issues. The receiver seems to slide around loosely, and overall the gun doesn’t feel solid anymore. I’ve attached a photo of the affected area for reference. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix it? I was talking with Evike support and they said it was a detent spring that was the cause of the issue

The Upper receiver is not seated correctly. I can tell by the gap between the upper and lower of the gun and the cocking bolt must be set back (cocked) for it to fit properly. Also when seated correctly you have to slide the upper 'forwards not backward'; this allows the pin/spring located on the rear on the bottom of the lower gun to lock into place.
If the bolt is NOT cocked it will NOT fit.
If the bolt is NOT cocked it will NOT fit.

Yeah there is a matching groove on the lower receiver that the upper receiver tab has to fit into.
