Umarex Is Offline-- Maintenance

Friends and Customers-- If you try to dail up UmarexUSA, or any of our other websites tonight, tomorrow, and perhaps through the weekend, you will notice they are down. We are doing some upgrading and it has left us holding an empty virtual bag of sorts. We do hope to get this upgrade taken care of sooner rather than later, but would appreciate your grace if the outage continues through the weekend. Happy shooting!

That kind of downtime isn't common (HA and DR is cheap). Guessing they either lost a no monolithic data data tier or they're doing SIR from a breech.

They were offline is a short time; I think a couple of hours. But anyway this is a BB/ Air Gun company and distribution company, not what I would call exactly a site that needs to be up 100% of the time; (No National Security or National Critical Infrastructure). I would think that they need to do maintenance, backups, data updates, patch management, new and updated software.
So I am willing to give them some room here, don't you?
