Umarex USA asked Hard Air Magazine to check-out a prototype of the Gauntlet PCP in .25 caliber.

The results are very impressive. Lots of power and shots per fill!

We recorded very consistent Muzzle Velocities well over 1,000 FPS with alloy pellets and Muzzle Energies over 46 Ft/Lbs. That's combined with 26+ very consistent shots per fill.

I do appreciate the news but put in some effort to make it look less like a marketing press release by manufacturer and more like an insightful piece by knowledgeable enthusiast. I apologize if this is harsh or a peculiar opinion but I had to say what I thought.

Wow, a little harsh. The information is on a pre-production prototype. Anything that changes between now and release would have to be addressed or it will be attacked as a broken promise. The article is clear that this is a pre-production model and that the tester is only announcing the information rather than reviewing the package as a while.

The internet is forever. "End of the year" is only a few months out. Chillax.... More info coming soon.
