Umarex Air saber vs Airsaber x2...

so im abit of a noob.bought a little co2 powered javelin.its a fun little shooter but need more.

so i ordered a pcp pump / compressor set up and want to purchase an air saber single barrel or the x2 double barrell.

I got 2 questions :

1/ is the single barrel air saber more accurate then the double barrel? id assume so, but don't know for sure.

2/they claim more power in the x2 , and it holds an extra 375 psi so id assume thats true, however the reviews ive seen on you tube , ive seen the single barrel chronied at 460-480 fps with fpe calculated in the 180s ..the videos ive seen of the x2 was significantly lower...

id like the extra quick shot but not at the expense of power or accuracy.

can anyone whos shot both tell me your experience before i buy one and regret it for not buying the other? the original single barrel certainly looks better.

thanks.

Me and my friend bought both on clearance at Midway USA this summer. I have the single barrel and I'd say yes more accurate less variables. The double barrel trigger is better and the cocking leaver are sweet smooth. The single barrel is fastest fps at3400 psi and has settled in at 460 fps with 385grain arrow setup .3625 psi results in first shot at 380 fps. I only shoot tethered to a regulator. I have a UTG OP3 Crossbow scope 130Bdx recticle. It's great can hit target at 100 yards and 120 respectfully. I haven't chronograph his double barrel yet. I will soon . The arrow s are the biggest deal for accuracy you have to shoot and sort. Hope this helps

thanks buddy this is the info i was looking for.maybe the difference in power is the difference in tension of the hammer springs? the reviews say it takes a little force to cock the single barrell, but the double is easy....that got me wondering if the hammer spring maybe stronger in the original.

i do realize the lever is also angled different and that could just be mechanical leverage advantage.i wonder...

the double barrel review i watched, the shooter could not get dead on zero at only 25 yards...not that impressed as ive seen other reviews that say the single barrel is rifle accurate out to 50...id assume having an optic in the middle of two barrells are going to be challenging to get on as well as a single down the middle paralell with the optic.

im thinking single barrel it is then. thank you sir.
