Nice shooting. I like the squirrel in the crosshairs pic. I love the look of that rifle. Why did you go with that instead of the bantam sniper?

Sweet gun Bob. I am looking at the laminate or walnut version in .25 for early next year, possibly sooner.

I could afford to make installment payments, and Pyramyd Air has that plan but they don't sell Brocock.
I wanted to buy the Sniper HR through UA but they don't have that payment option.

That was only 10 yds!!! It was the JSB 18.13gr. There's a full one year warranty and limited lifetime warranty....the best that I can remember.

No, sadly it's a clone from Walmart...Champion branded. I didn't want to spend money on a Harris not knowing if it would fit properly or not.
Turns out it mounts securely but the contour of the interface doesn't quite reach the contour of the forestock. It swivels (cants) though, which is very nice with friction lock.....and seems sturdy so far, so I'll keep it.

I use Harris Bi-pods and really like them... Made in USA... Kentucky I believe.. They really durable and well made.. I need to buy a shorter one and yours looks the right height.. the swivel feature is really nice.. maybe put a strip of leather on each side to fill in the gap? I had to modify my Harris that fit on a Choate Varmint stock on my 22-250.. I used a thin piece of aluminum..

I'm sure I will eventually get a Harris. the only negative about this clone bipod is that the button retracts the leg instead of springing it open.

It used one of those bipods one season. It did preform well, but as soon as it got wet and cold in the field, it rusted up quickly. Keep it dry as possible so it can match that perfect finish of your gun.

Things dried up pretty quickly. I made my rounds to 6 of the 7 permissions I have in that area and only shot birds at 2 of them.
I'm going to stop at my newest permission on the way home to see if there is any bird activity there.

congrats on the sharp looking rig BOB,when i first laid eyes on those regged up models in the black tacticool ,, i new one some day i would have to have one,what size did you get, i see they come full size or the smaller carbine size ,,i do believe the carbine is the one i will choose ,,congratz again ,,PS SMW engineering in the U,K has some cool aftermarket parts for AA FX and others just thought i would pass it along PAT

The Harris has a "spring return" also.. it's all I've ever used so it's NP for me..maybe other brands are different? I don't like the ones with notches.. I prefer to be able to adjust the height with the knurled nut.

I have a Harris on my Urban. It's rock steady. Might want to look into the new Magpuls. I've heard some good things about them.

Thanks for all the comments and questions, but I'm absolutely whipped. Just got home and put the guns away. Have to be up for work at 5:30 a.m. I'll get on the desktop tomorrow and catch up with the thread.
It was an epic day with the new rifle. Got these at the stop on the way home. And a boat load of starlings at a second stop on the way home.....I couldn't resist. It'll make for a whole separate video!
