TX200 scope rings mounting

I see that some scope rings have a stop pin. Is the TX200's receiver machined with a hole to index with these type rings? And if so, for only one location or a few different options?

What about other brand springers. Is such a hole to accept these type mounts a standard feature on springers?

The TX200 and ProSport have two holes in the receiver. Weihrauch/Beeman guns also have either two or three holes depending on the model. A lot of the RWS guns have either a plate or screw to stop scope creep.

Holes for the scope stop are pretty standard for springers with grooved recievers. The TX200 is a little tricky though, the grooves are extremely fine. A 1 piece mount is usually the best option. Degrease the grooves and mount. Loctite and torque the screws.

The one piece mount limits scope size on the big and small ends and limits placement. I prefer to run the two piece mounts. I have had two ProSports and the recoil is so minimal that I have never had scope creep.

My TX200HC has three holes for stop pins. Don't forget to remove the scope when disassembling the action or the pin will scratch the trigger block...
