TX200-PG2 SHO-Tune Kit

http://vortekproducts.com/ourstore/Airgun_Tune_Kits?product_id=223  I was thinking about picking up a new AA TX200 HC in the near future. Does anyone have experience with this kit ? I am still on the rocks about .22 or .177 at the moment. Is there another kit that I should also look at considering ? I am not new to the shooting sports but fairly new to air rifles. Owned some cheapies as a child but looking to put together a lightly modded springer. Would this drop in kit be considered more for .22 than .177 or does that even matter ?

Mine is a .22 tx and I have both the sho and the 12fpe kits. Both are good kits but in my experience the spring don’t last long. Now I am use TBT guides with ARH piston seal and a QX4600 spring and can honestly tell you this set up is better. Smooth to shoot and very accurate. The stock spring works great on the TBT guides also. Not saying the Vortek kits not good, the spring life was disappointing.

Thanks for that info. Does anyone in the US sell the TBT kit?

A couple of months ago, because I am anal, I purchased a 12 lb Vortek and the Sho spring kits plus a Tinbum kit that, if I remember correctly, is supposed to produce around 14 ft lbs in my TX200 MKIII.

I installed the Vortek Pro Sho kit and was not satisfied. While it was in the shop anyway, Pyramid Air installed the Vortek 12 lb kit in and it turned it into an entirely different and super accurate machine. The new Tinbum TBT kit is still in the original packaging.

If you would like to purchase the Tinbum kit, you can have it for what I paid for it. Assuming you are in the US, I will even pay the shipping.

Just let me know.
