TX200 HC or PRO SPORT

I had the same dilemma a couple years ago. Thankfully I have a friend who had both rifles and I got a chance to shoot them both. Although the ProSport looks nicer (IMO), I found it to be awkward to cock. This might not be as big a deal for short shooting sessions, but I was considering the rifle for FT. I decided on the TXHC and was super happy with it.

How does it shoot with that short stoke kit compared to FAC tune?
The factory Pro Sport FAC tune shot cycle is very harsh and the cocking cycle is very rude at 16 fpe. At 12 fpe the Pro Sport shot cycle is docile and the cocking cycle is now manageable. I wanted an easy to shoot rifle for plinking sessions. The stock FAC Pro Sport is a maverick. The TbT kit is a perfect solution for my needs and makes the rifle more manageable.

Well, I blame you guys and so does my wife. I special ordered a lefty walnut prosport today(177). Hopefully in 3 months it will be here and I will be released from my back surgery. Once again a bunch of enablers on this site. :)

It's a thing of beauty to behold..lol. The cocking cycle does take some getting use to with the factory spring.
