TX200 Cocking Pivot Pin

This hardened steel pin in one of my MK1 TXs wants to “walk” out of its working position. This old gun has been fired a million times but the holes do not appear to be out of round and the pin requires a light hammer tap to reposition. Is there a simple fix short of replacing the pin?
Does it always walk to the same side? You could try a punch larger than the picture and peen it a bit. Not sure on the tx but some brands require this when removing and replacing pins.

Are you the original owner of the MK1? You don’t see many over here. I have an MK1 in a NJ stock. Lovely rifles.
