TX200 Chrony AA 10.3 Field Heavy

I finally picked up a chrony to try and see how the TX was doing. I also figured it might help someone out if they are searching for data.

I decided to try it with the weight sorted and lubricated AA 10.3 Field Heavy pellets that the gun seems to like. They are really 10.4 grains. It is a VIKKA Premium Precision Ballistic Chronograph from Amazon. I put 25 rounds down range.

I am not sure what happened on shot 18. All the others seem pretty reasonable. Pull shot 18 and ES drops to 10.1 fps. All but 4 shots are withing 1 SD (16%). So it is more consistent that a normal distribution (~68%) would predict.

How accurate are the tx with heavy pellets? I always used AA 8 grain with gd results.

AA 10.3 kills for me. Under an inch at 50 yards. An occational under .50" at 50 yards.

I am shooting 4.52 size 10.3. They are a snug fit. This is my preference.

Mine shoots the 4.51mm 10.65's well, honestly it doesn't shoot anything bad. It prefers the 4.52mm AA 8.4's.

Mine has shot AA, H&N, JSB and Zan slugs (.177) well. It gets less stable under 8.4. I have not tried heavier than 10.65's.

What Zan slug did you try? I tried the JSB Knock Out 10 gr and they yielded poor accuracy.
