Two thumbs up for the AGT Vixen Long I purchased from Tony at Talon Tunes a few months ago! I was looking for a gun to shoot 25 meter benchrest at a price I could afford. I purchased the .22 cal. Vixen , topped it with an Athlon scope, attached an extended picatinny rail and the TT carbon bipod . This week I scored a 249 with 24-10's and 11- X's. Before getting my vixen I was shooting 12- to 14 points lower at 25 meters. I found that my Vixen shoots best with JTS 16.08 pellets. AEA shot almost as well, JBS was not as consistent.
I don't know if Tony adjusted the trigger, but it is perfect just the way I received it. My biggest challenge was finding a consistent hold for the rear bag. Looks like I'm starting to zero it in. Now I'm looking forward to increasing my x's and shooting my first ever 250!
Just wanted to thank Tony and Talon Tunes for the great and friendly service. This is the second gun I have purchased from TT (the first was a Veteran) and I've never regretted either purchase.
