Check out the duo that is currently displacing two very good PCP rifles as my main pesting platforms. The Brocock Atomic XR and the Reximex RP. Facts are, that though I've killed pigeons out to 104 yards with my rifles, 99% of my pesting is sub 40 yards. The portability alone makes both of these little rigs winners. That they are so suited for their roles is icing on the cake. The RP is my 30 yards and in, lightweight pester, not as powerful as the Atomic XR, but it's more svelte. The Atomic on the other hand is a robust little tank, which is quickly becoming my main PCP. Great to plink with, and deadly on small pests out 50 yards in my hands. At this point both my rifles have become bench, or over watch PCPs for shooting past 60 yards. Another sweet thing is that you don't necessarily need a compressor to keep them fed with HPA. And I know the trend is towards more power, but so far none of the pest have complained.
