Two rats today...

Took my pp700sa to the dairy very late in the day 5 pm and shot two rats, two sparrows and one starling at 30 yards. It was slim pickings, but better than a blank. Did not bother to recover any of the birds. The pictured rat was taken at 10 yards, I could’ve spit on him, but refrained (Covid etiquette). The second rat I shot at 15 yards in the manure pit, unrecoverable. The pp700sa hadn’t seen action in a long time.

Nice shooting! You ever been to that same spot after dark? My honey hole comes to life once the lights go out. It’s been slim pickings lately aside from the alpha rats that are better at surviving than I am dedicated to slaying. They might have some naive offspring out by now, it’s been a few weeks.

Good job, L.Leon! Thatta way to get rid of those pests and help keep the property clean. That looks like a dirty, rotten, filthy rat. I prolly would have spit on him, Covid or no, like in the Josey Wales movie

I was thinking the same thing...those things are monsters! So big in fact that I’m surprised you even had to aim at 10 & 15 yds.
