Two out of three ain't bad...

Found a superb Beeman RX1 20 year Commemorative and it arrived today, it will go nicely along side my Beeman R1 20 year Commemorative. Both are complete with matching soft cases. The commemorative models were only available in 1992, only came in .20 cal. and all were all two toned, blue and silver. Now to try to find a Beeman P1 version :/

Beautiful rifles. You find all these sweet vintage rifles. All I want is a nice Beeman R10 .20, HUntington Beach or older that won't break my bank account and of the last 2 I have seen, one went for over a $1000 on Ebay and the other is a semi mangled mess the guy wants over $500 for on Gun Broker...lol.

Thanks for sharing, Mike.

TBH and in my opinion if you looking at a modern R10 and they are either pricy or hard to find just go for an R9. Any of the MKII R10's are just an R9 with a long barrel. The MKI's are a bit different having a screw on rear cap like the R1 and they have a separate, raised scope rail. The MKI's can be found in carbine or full length as well as standard or deluxe (full length) stocks. Krale might have some new 85's...

TBH I never said settle, I said IF you are looking at a modern...

Sorry Mike, I should have specified older, like in San Raphael, Santa Rosa older. Can't actually explain it but there's something about the older rifles. I have a newer R9 .20, then found an older Huntington Beach R7 .20 and with some help from my girlfriend, now own it. Pure joy to shoot and gave me the itch to find the older R1 .20 and R10 .20 at least to go along with it.

Maybe I'm just being too picky, but the Beeman R10 .20 I mentioned above is a San Raphael and at least to me, not worth the $560 the seller is asking for the outside things I see wrong with it that make me wonder what else might be that I can't see: https://www.gunbroker.com/item/905958989

Beautiful looking pistol btw, holo. Mike, as nice as his looks, I hope you get good news on the one you're waiting to hear back on to add to your collection.

Agreed on the older models. As you can see I'm a fan of the older springers also, I have VERY few new/modern ones in my collection. I do have a few but most certainly prefer the classics, the newer models are just tools compared to the collectibles I really enjoy. I recall seeing the vintage guns from when they were new and I could not afford or had no where to put them, now I am able to do both and I'm enjoying the journey. I recall some years ago walking through the woods course at a FT match with my Beeman HW97 Tyrolean and thought what if this thing falls on the ground? A few weeks later I ordered a new 97KT and I don't worry too much about as I can order another one without too much problem. On the other hand try finding a 97K Tyrolean... I don't think I have seen more than 2 or 3 in 15 years.
