Two new regulated PCP air rifles have been announced today - within an hour of each other. Both guns will be shown at the SHOT Show next week.
First - in order of announcement - is the new Banjamin Marauder Field and target Edition. This is a regulated version of the Marauder with - apparently - an improved barrel. Crosman says 70 regulated shots per fill in .177 caliber, 50 shots in .22. No price yet.
The second is a newcomer from UmarexUSA. The Umarex Gauntlet is a silenced, regulated, multi-shot, bolt action PCP. It uses an interchangeable regulated HPA tank. Umarex says the Gauntlet delivers 70 regulated shots per fill in .177 caliber and 70 (the same) in .22 cal.
But the big news has to be the price. The MSRP for the Gauntlet is just $299!
