Two more rats for deadly Bantam...

Haven’t been to the dairy in a month... and after all the Corona Virus news. I wasn’t sure if I could go back. I sent the owner a text asking if I could still come down. Or if he wanted me to wait until this is all over? He said I could come anytime. It’s not like I’m around anyone while there anyway. But I wanted to find out from the owner himself. I did not get there until 5 pm, fairly late. Stayed until 6:30. Today was blustery in NYS with gusts to 23 mph... piece of cake for my Bantam, not! So I set up inside, took a few sparrows. I glass down the corridor in the posted image. And see this big rat darting it’s head in and out of the left corner. All he was showing was his head at 43 yards... good enough for me as I plink objects half that size from 40 to 64 yards... Put the IR on its head, sent the JSB 18 and watched it somersault forward into the manure catcher (pictured). The second, smaller rat did the same only presenting it head, one JSB 18 and number two was down. Then it was time to leave... but I will be going back, soon.

@wahoowad, thanks... This is a small, very small dairy compared to the one where I was killing at least a dozen per night... I am looking to get a permission at the local orchard I use to hunt years ago. I killed a lot of woodchucks there, your success with chucks this year is getting me excited to get a few myself. Though I haven’t seen any around here yet this year.
