Two big pellet spills in one day...

• After 10 years with PCPs it happen all in one day.......
• Ok guys what do you put your pellets in from the tin, I got a lot of tins that have the press on lids, And with the soft sand like dirt by my shooting table the pellets just sink in, I was opening a tin of JSB 22 and the tin just slipped open lost about 200 pellets , I then knocked off a open tin of JSB 177 pellets 400 or so in the dirt, YES, YES I am going to salvage some but there has to be a better way????? What does the THINK TANK SAY ?

Small wire screen and sift the pellets out of the sand.

I'd watch a few videos on pellet washing for sure.

Don't want any grit to get into your barrel for sure.

Guys . . . after having been hanging out in here for a while now and learning from many of you - recently on the topic of pellet sorting - I found I was in need of extra tins to put the various weights of them in. ( 10.2's, 10.3's, 10.4's, 10.5's etc . . . lol ) I googled some and discovered these. They're cheap and you get a whole box of 'em.

They DON'T thread on though and the lids can come off relatively easily. My solution to this is to just take a little punch prick that I happened to have in my toolbox and just press ( using my hand and a little bit of force ) a "punch" into the side of it. It "notches" the lid and works surprisingly well at keeping it secured. Note the singular prick punch on the side of this one.

Search "click clack tins". They have a snap on lid instead of press on and work well-press center to open and press sides to close. Several types to find but ebay has some relatively cheap. But I also use several types of the small mint containers as noted above for small volumes in the pocket.

A popular hand cream called working hands, they have screw on lids and made of really good plastic, and best hand cream for rough skin.

Forgot to mention empty chewing tobacco containers work too. Your friends just toss them anyway daily. Ask them to save them so you can collect them. Wash them good with DAWN dish detergent.

 Pick up the pellets with a sock or handkerchief to form a pocket in a vacuum cleaner hose.. Rare earth magnets inside the pellet tins to keep them closed..
