Hi guy's, I'm needing some info. I bought a GX-C-S3 compressor and a Tuxing gold filter to go with it. My issue with the filter is the fill whip that comes with it has a disconnect that needs to be removed and a connector installed to connect to my Impact. I'm reading of different thread sizes on the whip. Does anyone know the correct thread sizes? Do I need to get a different whip? Everything seems to look good except where you connect the whip to the fill port. Thanks..

Can you maybe post a picture of what you've got there. Would help a lot towards figuring out what you need. The gold filter whip should be a direct attach for filling, so I'm curious what the end looks like now.

Here's what I have. The connector on the end of the whip is what came with the water/oil filter.. The connector of the right is for the Impact. The threads are different. Anyone run into this before and whats the cure? Thanks

Those both look like quick disconnects. You should be able to just connect the whip to your gun. Pull the knurled silver piece at the end back, insert over the qd nipple on gun, release silver piece and confirm a solid connection.

The qd on the hose is to big to fit in the recess of the Impact. I can't put the qd from the Impact on the hose cause the threads are different.

I gotcha - you're going to need a 1/8" BSP adapter like this: https://www.amazon.com/IORMAN-Universal-Quick-Disconnect-Paintball-Fittings/dp/B07HKY3N26 to screw onto the FX QD and then insert that into the whip.
Although - have you tried using two wrenches and unscrewing the brass part from the silver? Both are cut to fit a wrench. I can't recall if the whip is threaded BSP or NPT though.

I think I read somewhere the whip is BSP. Thanks for the help. I'm going to look for that BSP adapter.

I was about to recommend you just something like this. Should work perfect with the QD already on the whip.

The thread size on the whip that came with my Tuxing gold filter is M10x1. (Note that my threads are male; yours look like they are female.)
A good option is to get an male/female foster quick-disconnect adapter like ctshooter recommended. That way you will be able to fill your gun from any high-pressure air source that has a female foster fitting.
You could also buy an M10x1 to female 1/8 BSP adapter.

I can't comment on how good the filters are but from what I've read they work pretty good and are safe. Always use caution..

The filters that use molecular sieve medium/beads are very effective. They are super burly. The cylinder wall is very thick and the end caps are very long so they screw way into the cylinder. I've never heard of one rupturing or anything like that.
I cannot from experience speak about the ones that don't use molecular sieve. Physics tells me they can only be effective if the pressure inside the cylinder is kept higher than the pressure in your gun.
