Tuxing filter O-Ring

Bckyrdsnpr,
Might be of no help, picture is of "O" ring that seals end cap on long, gold Tuxing. Replaced one already,

this is the last that came with filter. WM

Whatever you end up replacing it with, make sure that there isn't any O-Ring showing in the gap when the cap is screwed down, or it may get pushed out by the pressure. I wanted to have extras on hand in addition to the three that came with my filter. The closest replacement I had was off by a small amount for a similar filter - same ID but with a slightly larger thickness than the original. When the cap was screwed down as tight as I could get it by hand, you could see the O-Ring through the gap. In testing under pressure, about a 3/4" long length of O-Ring squirted out of the very small gap at about 2000 psi and started slowly leaking. I have a flip top bin full of many different sizes of metric and inch O-Rings and none of them were the right size so I will have to find a different replacement for this filter.

That's what mine did, blew out partially. They were green, but mine 2 tuxings didnt come with spares!

You need the ID and the cross section, divide the ID by .039375 will give you the mm's.
I'm trying to find replacement oring for the gold tuxing filter. Anyone have a size and source other than Aliexpress?
Do you have some calipers? Preferably digital with metric? Harbor freight is your friend. From there either Capt. O-ring or eBay, among others.

I do, I was being lazy and was hoping someone else already did the work for me. I use the o ring store!

I use a standard (AS568) O ring size 127 in Buna 90 (hard) since it is seeing the full 4500 PSI. In metric terms that is a 36.17mm X 2.62mm. In case you are still being lazy here are links to both oringsandmore.com and theoringstore.com, enjoy.
