Tuxing double cylinder compressor - air leaking into crankcase

Hi all,

Again I need your help with this compressor.

I have rebuild it twice already and I have no clue on what's going on here.

It's leaking air into the crankcase and I get air and some blue smoke blowing out of the pressure release on the top.
Marked with red on the picture.

I have changed the piston rings and all the paper seals. I was careful not to scratch anything when changing them and watched for the correct orientation.
All screws are tight, checked and double checked.
It does build up pressure without any issues so that's good.
It doesn't overheat so cooling is OK.

After 2 rebuilds I'm completely at a loss on what to do next.

Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Walt

May be unrelated but can you take a picture showing your crank case oil view window. From the picture I see it looks like you have too much oil in it. The oil level is only supposed to be half ways through the red dot. I overfilled mine once and had blue smoke fill the room.
I lowered the oil level and it fixed that problem..

That's the oil breather thats circled in red. Air is SUPPOSED TO blow out of it. As "Avator" said, looks to me also that you've over filled your oil but hard to tell from that angle. Never fill OVER top of red dot in oil indicator window! There's a warning label just above it. BTW, oil seems to be really discolored (depending on which oil you use). Please respond re: type of oil & level to which you fill.

First airgun compressor I bought was Tuxing. Worst investment I have ever made !! I chased problems and issues for almost two years. Before I left for AZ this past winter I gave it to a friend who is a far better mechanic/tech sort of guy than I. I told see what you can do with it since he was laid off for the winter. He screwed around with it all winter. It will be canibolized or be a paper weight. all I am keeping from it Is the filter system.
while in Mesa I bought a new Omega Air Chager from AOA. Now I am happy happy happy!!! I fillmy tanks faster and no problems or drama.

Like a car, blowby into the crankcase says your rings arent sealing Or in my case the 2nd stage of the stacked stages had cracked the 1st stage piston top but the volume under the pistons closest to the crank case is normally moved thru that breather. I know on some legitimate dive compressors the rings are tapered and you have to observe proper orientation(as you say you have) . Blue smoke out of the case breather meant look for something for me. I ignored it and the big end of my connecting rod was quickly re clearanced into a paperweight.

Something is wrong, and I'd do a full disassembly, check and re assembly of what you have. You may be able to avoid grenading it, but it could be inevitable. Your issues are all the same as my issues with 3 Yong hengs.

As the recipient of this compressor if there are parts needed from this one that could be used let me know as ill have the full compressor just missing the filters the main issue is i belive it needs the whole high pressure head assembly. Electronics case an cooling system seem good
