Hey! we're not too far away from you. Camp Hill, PA. Snapping turtles won't bite swimmers. Been swimming with them all my life. Our family farm pond in Perry Co. is full of them. Some over 30 lbs taken out. Never heard of a swimmer getting bitten. Nice place to hike and explore you got there. Still one thing I like to do. Hike and explore.
Our farm has a lot of places like that. Big Buffalo creek. Two ponds. several small streams. 200 acres. Seclusion. Heaven on earth.
