Ahhhh. Fortunate again request for pecan smoked turkey has me avoiding long family time engagements . I find it far more enjoyable sitting at the bench plinking while the birds are slow cooking in a nice Haze of of pecan smoke near all day.. then have my sis swing by to pick them up and just bring me a plate back on her way home... I just can't make the gathering due to time after cooking is deer hunting time .. maybe next year...
