My friend and mentor always said Hawke Scopes were the only way to go, lifetime warranty etc. I have a few air maxes.
Reading this forum the Hawks don’t seem to be the favourite choice.
I’m hoping to receive 2 new arrivals this week, 97kt .177 and a 54 red laminate pro .22 which I ordered 3 weeks ago. Any recommendations for scopes for springers that have a lifetime warranty would be greatly appreciated?

I’ve been using match point scope mounts. I’m switching to picitiny, I have a few and like this system. Is this right?

The more you read about Springers the more infinite it seems. Crow

Air rifle approved means little to nothing these days. They just keep sending you a new scope. For a couple of times anyway. My guns Diana 45 and 52 have destroyed his number 3, 4, 5 scopes as well as three of four others in short order. I was afraid to put my SWFA or Leupold on them as I did not want to destroy them also. Returning scopes is a pain especially if you have had them for awhile or get them used.

I have Sportmatch damper mounts and I was told that the Diana bull’s-eye was too high for the scope. By my friend I was recommended to keep the scopes as close to the body of the gun as possible.

I have an air gun shop near by. I was buying my scopes from him hoping repetition sales will spike his memory for warranty. Unfortunately he’s got the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. Crow
