Looking for a good set up for Cal .177 22. grains 24 grains Zan Slugs . Panthera .177 700 mm.

I shoot 22 grains 965 fps reg pressure 137 micro 3,2 , but wery unstable . five shots group on 60 m are 65 mm ...... 24 grains up to 100 mm in five shoots group.

He didn't. He just hid it well. It's a Panthera .177 700 mm.

I dont know what reg setting is needed to get a .177 to go that fast. Did you dial up the pre load and find the plateau for that reg setting then back it down onto the knee? If you did how far down on the knee did you go? If you are on the plateau or close to it or above it on hammer energy you are getting too much waste air.

No airgun I know of can shoot the heavy 177 slugs well because of sow twist rates in Airgun barrels. FX refuse to make a true slug barrel for 177 with fast enough twist rate for the heavy slugs. We need 1:11-1:12 twist rate for 20-24 grain slugs, they only have 1:18.

Honestly after 12.5 grain 177 slugs it’s better to shoot the 22 heavy slugs. 177 slugs are cool ideas at least for now but they are just so inefficient due to bore size.
