Please forgive me for two things. First im not sure if this should go here but did not see a category that seemed to fit.
second for the poor shooting in the picks. In my defense they where today in HOT central Louisiana freehand off the back of a jacked up pickup with my heart pounding from this fat boy trotting back and forth 100y.
here are the fx chronograph results:
actually 58 shots not all where chronoed.
878 Avg FPS at about 90 FPE using JSB Diabolo 44.75. Reg is right at 100bar from utah airguns on a FX Impact X MK2 with a superior 700mm liner in it.
this was holding1-3/4 mills low at 25 and dead on at 50.
after fiddling with scope (which is not for airgun hunting.
after struggling to get a steddy position leaning on truck i finally got the above 8 in black at 100Y im guessing 3” or less. Dident bring my calipers. And 7 in center about a inch at 50 holding last mil dot on 100Y and 1-3/4 mill low at 50Y
now for my question. What is yall best advice on improving this setup beyond a bypod (which im working on got sand bags just just not smart enough to bring them). I want to work on best tune because i hope to be doing 50/50 bench and freehand shooting ((for fun not competition) the targets show ill not be ready for that ever)
my gun is:
FX Impact X MK2 700mm superior liner .30 cal
ammo JSB Diabolo 44.75
reg: 100bar
Power wheel: Max
hammer spring: .688
Rebound valve: .335
From 250bar 5 mags later has tank at about 125bar
in all my life i think i have found a airgun that shoots infanatly better then i can shoot it.
